YOUTH WORKSHOPS - SPRING BREAK WORKSHOP

Beginners & all levels welcome! Running Monday - Thursday from 10am - 12pm 

In this 4 day workshop geared towards youth ages 6 - 10, participants will have the opportunity to learn and practice the fundamentals of wheel throwing.

This class is designed for absolute beginners, so no prior experience is necessary. Whether you're a complete novice or have dabbled in pottery before,  this class will be fun, engaging and rewarding.

During the course, our students will learn essential techniques, step-by-step, as they gain confidence in working with the pottery wheel.

Over the week, our classes will be dedicated to learning the fundamentals of wheel throwing, wedging clay, centring, throwing, trimming and glazing. 

The instructors will teach you how to center the clay, shape it into various forms, and create functional vessels like bowls, cups, and vases. You'll explore the interplay of different tools and learn how to add unique textures and patterns to your creations.

Our workshops include time for a snack break, so make sure you bring your water bottle and your favourite snack to fuel creativity! 

Our well-equipped studio offers a supportive and inspiring environment for learning. Each participant will have access to their own pottery wheel and the necessary tools and materials are included. The class size of 6 students is intentionally kept small to ensure individual attention and ample time for personal guidance from the instructors.
